DOSES 'Our Furry Friend'

Doses is the Guys' 2 year old Pitbull. He may look scary but he is an absolute sweetheart. Doses is a happy, heathy and playful dog and he too eats a clean diet with all natural Holistic dog food. Doses loves people especially kids, and loves his chew toys. He was given a clear bill of health by his Vet for this long journey and it was even suggested that he "pulls his weight" by carrying a pack on his back with his own food in it.

The Guys

Sammy Colon

Sammy grew up in the projects of Puerto Rico and moved to the US when he was 10 years old, where he spent his teenage years living in one of North Philly's most dangerous neighborhoods, Kensington. He was surrounded by drugs, violence and bunch of not so good role models. It was threw some very important mentors and non-profit organizations that Sammy found an outlet to get out of the "hood." Sammy and Soup meet through a mutual friend, they clicked immediately and became very good friends over the years. When Soup was serving his time in the Army, Sammy had some stuggles of his own. He gained a lot of weight and became unhealthy as he battled with depression and self-confidence. When Soup returned home, Sammy was one of the true friends there for him, as Soup needed a little time to adjust. These two friends vowed to become healthy, to continue to strive forward towards their pursuit of happiness and to never give up. Sammy changed his eating habits and began to exercise as he also threw himself into employment busting his hump to do whatever he could to make some extra cash. Soup taught Sammy about the world of fitness and what he learned at NPTI, they dove head first into crossfit and the two vowed to help others anyway they could. Sammy has dedicated his life to helping kids the same way his mentors helped him, by just trying to show them the light.

   LEADING PEOPLE TO LIFELONG VALUES

Who We Are

Who we are? We are two Guys that believe in true health and fitness. We believe our bodies are meant to move and feel good doing it. We set out on this journey to raise awareness and get people moving. However, our main goal along this journey is to raise money for a non-profit organization that hits very close to home for us- Steve's Club. We have set out to raise $10,000 for Steve's Club but the possiblities are endless and we want to raise as much as we can for this great organization.

About US

Anthony "SOUP" Campbell

Anthony Campbell also known as "SOUP," was born and raised in Philadelphia. He wanted more from life then the Philly streets had to offer so he joined the Army, and then went on to become a Ranger with the 75th Ranger Regiment.  Soup served 4 years and 3 deployments in the Army. After getting out he felt a little lost and became really unhealthy as he ate poorly and gained weight. Soup knew that was not how he wanted to live his life so he made a change and began to move again. Once he started getting back into fitness he began to help a few close friends get in shape as well. It was then that Soup found his passion in helping others threw the world of fitness and decided to become a Personal Trainer. Soup enrolled in National Personal Training Institute in Philadelphia and it was there that he discovered and fell in love with Crossfit. His favorite part about Crossfit is the community support and positive atmosphere it creates. Soup also respects and understands all types of fitness and lays it to us straight saying, "Do whatever real fitness you enjoy- a lot of different techniques work, and a lot are full of shit. Hard work is the key." Rangers Lead the Way!
